The Vegetable Garden

Everyone likes a garden, so do I.Some like with slides or some with fruits or some with vegetables, etc. I like it with fruits and vegetables. When I was small, my neighbor, Mrs.Hoot, had a garden filled with various fruits and vegetables. I used to help her in watering her plants. As time passed I got slowly inspired and wanted a garden of my own too.

One night, at dinner I asked my parents for having a garden in the backyard. After hearing my request my mother said"No way, you cannot grow a garden. You don't know how much effort it needs."I was very upset. After dinner, I thought I could think of something else to do. But that night I could think of nothing else but the garden. That night around 1:30, I woke up, took my lucky pen and started writing a letter to my mother. That letter included the things I and my mother would do. In the morning I ran to my mother and gave the letter to her. After reading it my mother replied, "If you want a garden so badly, you have to promise me to do all the things you have written."

That morning itself we started raking the backyard. My father helped too. After a month or so my garden was ready. I had gained a big success. After seeing the garden ready mother said"Yay! Now I won't need to go to the market to buy vegetables anymore."This is how I had my own garden
