The story of goddess gangamma

Once upon a time there lived a man called Nagappa In the small village. He was old and hard worker too. He is a cattle rarer. He has 30 goats and 20 sheep . One fine morning he went to forest with all sheep's and goats. He used to take food and water along with him. At noon he felt thirsty and look at his bottle when he saw the water got over.

He thought it would be good if someone came with water. When he thought that words suddenly one woman came and given water in golden coconut after drinking that he said who are you but she left from there. He taught a goddess came and he said to all the villagers and from that day near a neem tree everyone in the village started praying there. That is goddess Gangamma
