The Magical Doll

Once there was a girl named Hazel. She lived in Mumbai. She was very lonely and had no friends.

One day her parents decided that they should buy her a toy. They bought a new doll for her. When they gave it to Hazel, she was very happy. When she was opening the box, she realized that there was a note written. It said talk to me and I will talk to you. She liked the doll very much as it was very pretty and also it was magical. She would always share her sorrows with the doll. One day the doll said "don't you have any friends? " "No" Hazel replied. "Then why don't you go to the park and make friends?" "But I am afraid that they would not like to be my friend. " "Don't worry, take me with you.

Hazel took the doll and went to the park. All the children were playing there. When Hazel approached them, everyone was looking at her doll. They asked," Are you new here?" "Yes," said Hazel. They all admired her doll and started playing with her. Slowly the children became Hazel's friends and they always played together. Hazel thanked the doll for helping her make new friends and kept it in a safe place.

Now Hazel was happy to have many new friends in her life.
