There was a King Midas. He was a successful ruler of France. King Midas was very rich. He had a luxurious life in his court and enjoyed his being the king of France. The more gold he had the more he wanted. One day he sat counting his coin. Suddenly a fairy appeared. This fairy said that he could have any wish he liked. The greedy king Midas asked for golden town. The fairy couldn’t give a golden town but instead granted the power that whatever Midas touches turns into gold. Midas was very happy. He touches everything in his house and it turns into gold. That evening he was tired and hungry, so he went to the kitchen. He tried to eat the bread, meat and fruit but it all became into gold. Now Midas understood that money cannot buy happiness, peaceful mind, health and satisfaction. Midas prayed to lose his golden touch power.

Moral : Materialistic goal cannot satisfy every human need.
