The Frog And The Dove

Once upon a time there was a frog who lived in a jungle. He owned a tree, on that tree he used to sing from morning to evening, all the animals used to listen to him singing. They did not like to hear the frog sing, but they would still praise him just to not hurt his feelings.

A few weeks later a dove came along and sat on the tree. She started singing beautifully, all the animals came and loved her beautiful voice and praised her singing a lot. The Frog was jealous. He wanted to compete to show proof that he is better. He thought a lot and then he came up with an idea. He put a price for her voice, so he would charge the animals a cost to hear her voice. The ticket price was expensive, yet the animals would come to hear the sweet singing voice of the dove. The Frog started making a lot of money and he got greedy, he made the dove sing all day. When the dove wanted to rest, he scared her that she will have to leave the jungle and go. The poor dove sang and sang until she lost her breath and died of hunger and thirst. This made the frog very happy that he succeeded in getting rid of the dove as well as he earned on her pain.

Moral- Never be foolish to let someone ruin you.
