The Demigods-A Percy Jackson Fan Fiction-Part 1

It was Emma's last day in her school Westchester High. She had joined this school this year only. She had only one friend, Sammy. He was weird but really nice to her. He couldn't walk properly. Some weird things had started happening since her 12th birthday. There were weird people, not exactly people, they looked like monsters. They had started attacking her since she had turned 12. When she talked to her mother about this, she just gave her a weary look like she knew this would happen and told her to wait till her summer holidays started. Now, her summer holidays had started. When she and Sammy were in a bus to ride home, she invited Sammy to her summer house. Sammy refused and asked her to wait till the reach her home.
After reaching home, Sammy just told her mother "The time has come." Emma had no clue what they were talking about. Then her mother told her "Emma darling, you have always asked me about who your father is. I have always dodged the question. Actually your father is a Greek God." Emma was startled. She was an avid reader and she loved Greek Mythology. She had heard myths of Gods having children with mortals but she never imagined she would be one. "Greek God? As in A God of Olympus?" asked Emma. This time Sammy spoke. "You have ADHD, right? Almost all demigods are ADHD or dyslexic because your brains are adjusted to Ancient Greek and Battlefield moves. We don't exactly know who your father is. You will know once you are in the camp" Emma asked "Is there a camp for people like me? Do I have to stay there always?" Her mom answered "Camp Half-Blood is where you are going. You can come back after the summer or stay there if you want for the whole year." Emma said "Take me there."
Before she could process all that, they were just five minutes away from the camp. It was located on Long Island Sound. After reaching there, she saw a pine tree. Sammy told her that it is their property line and mortals cannot see this or come beyond this because of the Mist.
As soon as she entered the camp, she met a Centaur. And not any Centaur. It was THE centaur Chiron. He told her all about Greek Mythology and how monsters return from Tartarus after some time. She was really excited and nervous. She was told that it is almost dinner time and that she would be seated with the Hermes table as it is the cabin which takes in all the unclaimed demigods.
During dinner, when Mr.D or Dionysus (yes, THE Dionysus; their camp director) was instroducing her, a green Trident appeared over her head. She knew it was the symbol of Poseidon. This meant he was her Dad. THE Poseidon was her dad. Then Chiron spoke, "All hail, to Emma Green, daughter of Poseidon!" After dinner, a boy with messy black hair and green eyes similar to Emma's approached her and spoke,"Hello Emma. I am Percy Jackson, and your half brother. It feels good to have a sister, you know? Well, leave it. Come. I will guide you to our cabin. "Sure! Why not?" said Emma and followed her new brother, PERCY.
