The Crying Shadow

In Singapore, a boy named Ram lives with his parents. During the summer vacation of his school, he decided to visit his friend Gopal and his grandparents in Hyderabad. He asked his parents and they said yes. After a few days, Ram reached their grandparents' house, he met with his friend Gopal also. 

One Day, Ram decided to go out to play with his friend Gopal at the playground near his house, he asked his parent’s permission, they accepted, Ram went out to play outside with his friend for a while. 

While walking to the playground, Ram saw a shadow crying, that shadow is just like him, he decided to talk with the shadow. Ram said “hey! shadow, why are you crying? are you my shadow”? The shadow replied that “ Yes! I am your shadow”, then Ram said “ Yes !, but tell me that, why are you crying” then the shadow replied that “Because you all are looking colorful, but look at us, we are looking in black color always, but you guys are looking so colorful, your world is so colorful. We also want to be colorful like you guys, but how?”.

Ram said “ ok my dear shadow,don’t worry I will find a solution for you, I will just go for a walk right now, Ram went to the playground and said what has happened to his friend Gopal. Gopal said “ What Ram?, a shadow crying? Let‘s go and see. Then the two friends Ram and Gopal went there and Gopal saw  that Ram’s shadow was really sitting under a tree and crying.

Gopal was so excited and went to talk with the shadow, then suddenly someone tapped Gopal on his shoulder from back side, Gopal was thinking that it was Ram, who was tapping on his shoulder and said “ hey Ram, go aside” 

 After a few minutes, Gopal turned back and saw, he was surprised that he is seeing his shadow, and the shadow said “Hi Gopal”. They both were shocked by seeing two shadows talking to them and shouting out so loudly  “ shadowwww”, listing that suddenly Ram’s parents came, his mother pour water on both Ram and Gopal then they both shouted mummyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!  Ram’s mother asked why are you two idiots shouting. Ram said that “ mummy our shadows were crying”.

Then Ram’s mother said “ you two idiots are dreaming and shouting’, but now sleep silently.Ram and Gopal smiled at each other and slept.
