The Chocolate Thief

The Chocolate Thief

Near my house, there is a chocolate factory. It is the largest factory in the city. It has huge rooms stocked with different types of chocolates. There are melted chocolates, dark chocolates, white chocolates etc. One snowy morning I saw, David, the owner of the factory, sobbing loudly on the road, adjacent to the factory. I asked him, what is the matter? He said, wiping away his tears, "last night a thief broke into my factory and has stolen away things". I wondered, which thief would steal chocolate!

That night I and my friends, Pam, Nicky, and Honey, set up CCTV cameras and alarm bells in every corner of the factory. The next morning, we saw very large footsteps on the floor. Rosy said, "this person might be a giant". "Yes", said Pam. We examined the CCTV recordings, but nothing was clear. "The person must be very short, as people who has big feet generally are very short", said Honey. "True", said Pam. "Then we should look for someone similar like that", said Rosy. "But in the city, there are so many people with big feet, what about we stay awake and sit inside the factory and find who is the thief", said Honey. "Great Idea", said Pam. They all stood awake that night. A weird noise came closer. We checked and found Tommy, the mayor's dog licking the chocolate in the darkroom.

Mr David laughed, when we told our findings to him, and said, "so this is the thief". As the mayor and David are good friends, he sent Tommy a bucket full of chocolates and he never came to steal again.
