There lived a poor Brahmin in a village.his name was Hari Datta . He had a small farm to till but in spite of all his hard work nothing grew in his farm once after finishing his work in the farm he fell asleep under a tree when he works he saw a snake outside a hole at a distance from him saying the Brahmin and the snake, he said loudly the Brahmin became frightened he thought to himself it must cobra he is annoyed with me because I never offer him something so the Brahmin offer a bowl of milk to the lord cobra and trade him for wealth and happiness after finishing the milk lord cobra said to the Brahmin I am pleased with you to bring a bowl of milk for me daily then he crawled back into his hole when the bhraman came to collect bowl he was astonished to find a gold coin lining in it he becomes very happy to get the gold coin I thought it must be a blessing from lord cobra does he offered A bowl of milk every day to lord cobra and each day he collected a gold coin in written from the bowl in this way the Brahmin collected hundred of coins one day the Brahmin had to go to a distant town to purchase some seeds of fruit andand vegetable he told his son to look after the lord cobra and offer him about of milk everyday offered the milk to lord cobra everyday as instructed by his father . The Brahmin son offered about of milk to lord cobra every day. One day the son thought to himself there must be a lot of gold coin in the stomach of lord cobra my father was to collect only one coin a day the next day he kept a bowl of milk outside cobras hole and waited at a distance with an ax in his hand as the lord cobra came out of the hole to drink the milk the son of Brahman and cutoff of the lord cobra head with his ax the lord cobra dies but the son of Brahman did not get any gold coin in the stomach of cobra after few days when the Brahmin returned home seeing the cobra died the father said to the to his son oh my son why did you do this you killed the lord cobra now we won't get even a single gold coin it's better you get out of my sight.
