The Boroline Beauty 🌸
The Boroline Beauty 🌸
It was a hot afternoon when Papa returned home from work. He was tired — very tired. All he wanted was to lie down on the bed and take a long, peaceful nap.
The clock showed 4:00 p.m., and the house was unusually quiet. Mama was fast asleep. But Papa knew that one little bundle of joy was still wide awake — his little daughter, who was never ready to nap, no matter how hard anyone tried!
Papa lay on the bed and turned to one side to get comfy. Just as he was about to close his eyes, he smelled something very familiar…
“Sniff, sniff...”
That smell? It was Boroline — Mama’s thick, creamy, and very strong-smelling medicine cream.
“Uh-oh,” Papa thought, half-asleep. “That must be my little explorer… opening bottles again.”
He slowly opened his eyes and looked around. What he saw made him jump out of bed in surprise!
There she was — sitting proudly on a folding chair she had pulled all by herself near the big Godrej cupboard. In her tiny hands was a Boroline jar, now half empty. Her arms and legs were covered in cream. Her cheeks were coated like she was wearing a face mask. Even her hair was stuck together — shiny white and sticky!
She looked like a mini ghost… but a very happy one.
Papa walked up to her and asked, “What have you done, my little one?”
She looked up, eyes wide and twinkling, and said with a proud smile:
“Babu, Boroline laga li!”
Papa couldn’t stop laughing. He wasn’t angry — not even a little. She looked so innocent and so full of joy that he couldn’t help but smile from ear to ear.
He bent down, gave her a gentle hug, and whispered,
“You are my little Boroline Beauty!”
And from that day on, she had a new nickname — one that made her giggle every time:
“The Boroline Beauty.”
Who knows? Maybe one day, she’ll be on TV, smiling brightly and saying,
“Boroline – laga li!”
🌟 Moral of the Story:
Sometimes, messy moments make the best memories. Childhood is full of magic — and a little mischief makes it even more beautiful.
