The Bear And The Two Travellers

There were two friends named Rohit and Sunil. One day they were traveling together through a forest when a bear suddenly met them in their path. Rohit quickly climbed up the tree and concealed himself in the branches. Sunil, seeing that he might be attacked, fell flat on the ground. When the bear came up and felt him with his snout, and smelt him all over, he held his breath and feigned the appearance of death as much as he could. The Bear soon left him for it is said it will not touch a dead body. When he was quite gone, Rohit descended from the tree, and jokingly he asked what was the bear whispering in his ears. "He gave me the advice that, never travel with a friend who deserts you at the approach of danger."
