THE ADVENTURE OF JOHN

Once upon a time, there was a fisherman named John. He catches fish and sells them in the market for livelihood. He lives with his wife and his two children in a village. He has one boat through which he catches fish. One day as usual he was doing his work but suddenly a storm came out of nowhere, crush his boat, and took him away far from his village. Due to the storm, he accidentally got swallowed down by a whale. He was unconscious at that time.

After some time he got his consciousness back. At first, he didn't understand where he was. It was dark everywhere. He checked his pocket and got a knife and a matchbox full of match sticks. He lights up the matchstick. He realized that he was in a whale's stomach. He tried to get out from the whale's stomach but he was unsuccessful. Suddenly he got pushed by something into the whale's mouth. He got scared by the large teeth of the whale. He thought that he had to cut the whale's mouth so that he could go out from the whale. When he was just about to cut the whale's mouth the whale opens its mouth. He immediately gets out from the whale's mouth. He then goes up to the surface of the water and saw that there was an island.

He swims and gets there. He was shocked that it was his village. He thanks to God and the whale who didn't harm him. He then went home. When his wife and his children saw him they were happy. They hug each other. After that they asked, "Where you were there?" He told them everything about the journey. The wife and the children first thought it was a joke but then they realise that it was not a joke. After that he got brave prize from the village and they lived happily ever after.
