Tea And You

This write up of mine is dedicated to my tea mate. I am a teacher by profession. My day at school was full of teaching, discussions, lectures and much more. Apart from all this, Having Tea......!!!!!!! It used to be my favourite during whatever free time we used to get.

But that was around fifteen months back. We are not going to school since the first lockdown in March 2020. That was the beginning of the Corona Age and the end of our routine lives. Schools are totally shut, with no teachers and no students.

Since then I am missing my cup of tea. I am missing my friends, especially my tea mate. I am missing our school, especially the canteen area.

It's not that I am not having tea nowadays. I do, but it's not the same. It can never be the same without you. That was not just our tea time. It was much more than that. Now it's like, whenever I hold my cup of tea... With every sip, I miss u more than before. I miss my Tea and You with every passing day.

I miss those days when we used to hook up at the canteen for a cup of tea during our free time. We used to discuss a whole lot of things in a short span of time. 

I hope that our workplace, that canteen, that chaiwala. They too are missing us. They too are waiting for us.

I hope that this era ends soon. And we three meet again Me, Tea and You.
