Silent Streams

When I was in class 11, I have been given admission to school other than I have studied till class 10.Everything was new for me there. But I found that the teachers and students themselves were very supportive. Till I reach to class 12, everyone in class was and is my friend.

I have been like that I am studying there for many years. It was class 12, therefore there were extra efforts to get good marks. There was a girl in our class. I'll not mention her name. She has some speaking problem, so she remains silent every time.

It sometimes made me think that why she is so cut off from class activities! Sometimes I tried to sit and talk with her. Then the sound of silence came to my ears. The girl also want to laugh and make friends like us but because of her speaking problem, she always thought never to talk to anyone in class because of lack of self confidence.

She was very affirmative. Our classmates, as I have told were very supportive. But the girl herself never wanted to remove that silence. It is not understood by anyone, even the teachers.
