10 days in Shimla have been awesome, rejuvenating, relaxing, refreshing, quality bonding time with family, amidst laughter, guffaws , playing cards and all the goodies made in our kitchen to satiate our taste buds.

Chetan Thakur’s house in Bhatla village, 20 km down Shimla , is no less than a dream destination . It's our 5th visit to the same place, but we never tire out of this abode. Every time it's a new feeling altogether- A home away from home!

Trekking on the single road that meanders between Pine trees on both sides, deep down the valley to its base, was our daily game. Downhill walk was always a pleasure. Uphill walk was a pleasure too - for we would ask a ride in any car that would go up.People are so polite and nice, they happily gave us a ride.

Standing on one of the hillocks I witness the whole valley region in ecstatic love of the wonderful creation, God bestows on us.

Best was watching the dancing clouds. One moment it floated in the sky like islands of cotton fluffs... Next moment came diving down like a charging brigade engulfing with its thin, opaque, sheet of grey mist, embracing the whole Valley . A perfect game of Hide and Seek.

The whole Valley hidden under the white grey misty sheet- left us gaping, squealing with delight. Kissing the valley it rose again like thick white smoke billowing upwards- gradually thinning, being one with the air, passing through us with that soft cool vapoury touch...back into the sky regaining its presence again. In a wink of an eye the valley transformed fresh and sparkling green - trees fields Meadows and terrace gardens, all in pearly divine hue!

Needless to say we all basked in this effervescent joy, sipping hot coffee adding to its effect.

Surely God is the magician of this world - with his magic wand having created this beautiful world!
