RAKSHA BANDHAN

As the word denotes, Raksha Bandhan is the custom practiced across the world, which is the *knot of safety*. The siblings care for each other, be of any age. Sisters who tie the knot of security and peace for their brothers are symbol of warriors. By analysing this Indian culture, we can determine one fact; a true reality. Sisters, or the womenhood act as the saviours for their brothers, which reflects the ultimate truth that women are magnanimous in their mental strength and power. It doesn't mean that men are inferior, but the power that a girl has is just stupendous. It is "she" who reproduces the next generation of mankind, whose strength is shared with her sibling too. The reason for celebrating Raksha Bandhan across the globe inculcates the glory of a sister-brother relationship, as well as the modesty of a daughter, sister, wife or mother. 

There are so many relationships in the world. But brother sister relationships are always something special. This is the only relationship beyond boundaries. Brother Sister relationships are something unique. Even God and Goddess have brother sister relationship. The classic example here is Lord vishnu, have a wonderful relationship with sister Parvathy, wife of Lord Shiva. The Brother's commitment to her sister is that he is always with her, ready to extend his unconditional full support as and when she requires. Moreover, he won't see tears in her eyes and only smile. The true value of a relationship one knows only in this relationship. Once sister is married and goes to her husband's house, on this happy occasion, she extends a red carpet welcome to her brother, showers her love through, glittering a small raksha colour rope she ties on his wrist. She was proud at that moment. This love is purely an emotional agmark love. Sister always gives space to her brother in heart and mind without any second thoughts. Even we take pledge in school everyday. India is our country.. All Indians are brothers and sisters….. We have to move in the society with a brother sister relationship with others so the mind of the people won't corrupt it. Now our society is desperately longing for the same.
