Prince Edward and the four Elves

Once upon a time there lived a prince named Edward. He had heard of the witch's beautiful daughter named Flora. The witch had set three tasks for anyone who wished to marry Flora. The tasks were:- 1. Find her lost ring; 2.eat the food for hundred men and 3. slay the dragon!.

Many princes died trying, Edward rode to the witch's cottage. On the way, he heard a cry for help. He saved four little elves from a deep well. The elves' names are Sharp-Ears, Tallboy, Puffy and Hefty. They decided to help him with the tasks. Sharp-Ears located the ring on the top of the mountain, for he heard the birds talk about it!. Tallboy reached up and fetched it. Puffy was so fat that he ate all the food! And Hefty slades the dragon. The witch had to give Flora in marriage to the prince. Edward and Flora lived happily with her. The elves were always in the palace.
