One huge box ....
One huge box ....
When I was a little child, I would watch "Doordarshan" with my mom, dad and brother.
We enjoyed watching "Spiderman" on every Sunday and "Chitrhar" on every Wednesday. To watch our favourite episode we would ask our parents to switch on our favourite huge box "Television"
Saturday evening use to be a movie time with the family and an interval in the movie was a quick dinner time. Me and my brother would compete to finish the dinner fastest. And than we grew up with MTV and Star Plus. Mom would scold if we play lourd music on MTV channel but she won't mind if the Television volume was loud watching " Saas Bhi kabhi ...." We were a close nit family and would enjoy watching TV together.
Now I am a mother too but I hardly watch TV with the kids cuz now my favourite is Netflix Amazon Prime, bla bla and the list goes on and on.
There are some series I would love to sit with my kids and watch but unfortunately I can't cuz the language used and the a absurd scene our was a shock to me. But now we are getting use to of the language and the scenes.
Earlier the jokes were so simple but now every joke or a satire in a movie has a double meaning or a foul language. Earlier we use to have one huge box called Television but now we have separate LED TV for every room.
I will never be able to forget my one huge box ever but I have forgotten the number of LED TV we have changed with time.
My One huge box was "Crown" Television and we were the jewels of our crown.
