My Hero

My father is my hero. He is a teacher by profession. He taught me good values.

He taught me how to lead my life in a Practical way. When I was small I have fear of darkness. Every night I used to fear the darkness. I am not able to go out after sunset. This is only because of my fear of darkness. After few days my father took me to a shop which is a little far from my house. It is 8.30 pm at the night. He bought the necessary things and he asked me to wait near the shop.

He left the place. I waited for half an hour. My father did not return. I cannot go to my house because of my fear of darkness. Slowly I started to walk to my house. Inspite of my fear I started to walk. It is very dark. When I started to walk street lights were off because of a power supply failure. Then I became nervous. the street dog started to follow me. Slowly I forgot about the darkness.

I want to escape from the dog. I walked Fast and after some time I started to run. I heard footsteps sound behind me. I started to run fast. Finally, I reached

home gasping for my breath. I headed someone calling from behind. I turned back. I saw my father smiling. He took me by the shoulder and said"see son, for many days I am observing you.

I saw that you had fear of darkness.

I want you to overcome fear. Now you are able to overcome the fear of the dark."

Then I understood my father's intention.

He taught me in a practical way how to overcome fear. Then onwards I started to lead a life without fear of darkness.

Really my father is superman. I love Him. Now he is no more but still, I will never forget his support.
