Money Plant

Once upon a time, there lived two brothers. One was in the nursery and one was in the ninth standard. They both were studying in the same school. One day they both got an assignment. The elder brother got an assignment to sketch a bill and the smaller brother got an assignment to draw a plant. Suddenly, the smaller brother thought of something he said to his brother, “brother, brother why we don’t have a money plant? “the elder brother smiled and said,” we can’t have a money plant instead it will end up in greediness”. But, the smaller brother kept arguing and said that he wants a money plant. The elder brother wanted to escape so he said, ”yes” and he started thinking, “What to do?”. He suddenly came up with an idea. He cut a tree shape from a piece of cardboard. He made the soil with the help of brown paper and printed money and pasted it on the tree. He shaded the tree with paints to make it real and his money plant was ready. He immediately went to his brother and said, “my dear brother I found a money plant”. The smaller brother was so excited and he said, ”where?” The elder brother said, “Right in our garden”. The smaller brother went into the garden and he was thrilled to see a money plant. He was so happy that he couldn’t speak any word. He tore the money from the tree without thinking and went to buy his favorite ice-cream. He gave the money to the shop but, the shopkeeper said, “the money is fake” and he kicked him out of the shop. He was disappointed and went to his house and he said to his brother, “brother, brother you tricked me that money plant is not real.” The elder brother calmly smiled and said, ”Oh! My dearest brother there is nothing like a money plant in the world. We have to work hard day and night to earn money. After that, we will able to rich. but, we should never compare whether we are poor or rich. We should be happy with what we have, so don’t be greedy again. “The smaller brother understood his mistake and promised that he will never be greedy.

Moral : We should never be greedy.
