There's popular myth that if a menstruating women touches pickle jar ,
it will go bad .


Running a myth menstruating  women is
 Impure, unholy or dirty during menstruation.


Around 23% of Indian girls between age 12 to 18 drop out of school when they begin menstruation.

A girl can't was her hair during menstruation. A girl can't attend any religious functions during menstruation.


Menstruating women can't enter the prayer room during menstruation. 

Even can't touch her family members who are going for worship during menstruation. 
A girl can't cook and eat with other during menstruation. 

Avoid eating certain types of food during menstruation. 


Why India must battle the shame of period stain? 

This is one of the dark side of Indian culture. 

We are women not an animal, trust me even animals are treated better than women. 

Period are the symbol of healthy and normal lady.. 

So why do people consider it as something impure? 

They forget that , it is the reason of their birth. 
And to be honest it's not just education, it's mentality that must be changed. 

As a new generation we have a lot to improve in our society.
