Marriage

I have often heard that Marriages are fixed by "God" in the "Heaven" and are performed on "Earth".

Bollywood Industry has taken efforts and Story writers have written stories on Marriages and also the prevailing formalities of Dowry System and the aftereffects of Dowry System especially in the Village Side.

The Rajshri Production unit has produced two wonderful Films on the Subject i.e. Marriage "Hum Aapke Hain Kaun" and "Vivah.

What I personally feel about " Marriage" is the Union of 2 Houses and the requirement of Marriage is for both the "Boy" as well as the "Girl", then how and why has the poor Girl's Father to bear all the Expenses and has to see that no one in the Boys Family is not Hurt while the Marriage is being performed. Even today in the Village or even in Urban area the tradition continues.

If at all as and when my Boy attains the age of Marriage both Me and my Better Half will propose to the Girl's Family of Dividing the expense on Marriage 50:50.

I think everyone should give a thought on this. This way of thinking will help the Country too.

In this way what I have earlier said that Marriages are fixed in Heaven and performed on Earth will have proper meaning.
