LITTLE things!

LITTLE things!

Someone asked "What's your weakness" I said, "Little things hurt me".

Someone asked "What's your strength" and I said, "Little things make me happy too".

We live in a generation, the so-called Gen-Z where we don't find anything worth it. Like we overshadow the little things on a daily basis which can just light up our whole mood. Maybe it's all in my head but this is what I felt, what I saw, or what I observed. I won't say that I am some sort of exception as we all are polar opposites but I hold a whole different world inside my heart. Small-small things that people do create a sense of love, a sense of curiosity, and a sense of anticipation in my mind and it gets stuck into my head for a longer duration of time. You may not be able to recall at this stage but I can assure you that you might have or had experienced some things that might have given you a whole different level of bliss. For me personally, I Don't crave for expensive gifts. The things that excite me are those one-to-one conversations, sharing my slightest details with my loved ones, someone who comes up to me and asks about my problems, long hugs, knowing about my well-being, giving me flowers, you know these things matter. If you only imagine that a kid comes up to you and says you're looking beautiful today, it will give you a different level of joy. Not just these things, but the little things you do for others make a really big difference in their life as well. I remember, in class 9th I used to go coaching and one day I was waiting for an auto and sat in an auto and I had those melody chocolates in my bag and you know as I was all alone in that auto so I didn't know what came in my mind and I said "do you wanna have some chocolates" and he said "why not" and after eating the chocolate he said "it tasted delicious" and that extreme bliss in his eyes made me happy and that's not it. Wherever he saw me after that he approached me and said "Beta come in my auto, I won't charge you a single penny" like imagine a 1 rupee chocolate must have given him so much pleasure that he wasn't ready to charge me. For you, it may not be an exponential thing but for some, it means the world. I remember in the middle of the 10th session it was getting difficult to cope with a lot of things and I went to mam Kamlesh and shared everything it was her class in another grade but she stood beside me and patiently listened all my worries and gave me solutions and after that daily she asked me "you're fine, right?" Like, come on no one in this generation does that. I wonder why seniors referred to her as a mother-like figure but the only thing I can see is a literal goddess. She's actually an angel in disguise. You just try to feed the little puppies some biscuits and they won't forget you for a lifetime. You know I have this habit of sitting beside old age people and talking to them in the local language and instantly they start sharing their whole life problems. There was this old uncle in my colony and one day I went to mandir and sat beside him and started asking about his well-being he started to share and everything and I did make him feel that I was interested in his talks and after that, you know what he said "beta, you come to my house, you're really a pure soul. May you achieve everything in life" and he literally made my day indeed. You never really know the true impact you have on those around you. You never know how much someone needs that smile you gave them. You never know how much your kindness turned someone's entire life around. You never know how much someone needs that long hug or deep talk. So don't wait to be kind. Don't wait for someone else to be kind first. Don't wait for better circumstances or for someone to change. Just be kind, because you never know how much someone needs it.

Those little things matter!!
