Ignorance

Ignorance

I want to be ignorant. Ignorant enough to talk to the breeze as I pop my head out of the car window and listen to the breeze’s secrets and capture its coldness in my lungs. I want to gaze and wonder about how the moon looks so small and the trees run backward. I want to look through the darkness thinking about nothing and I want to be free enough to let the gushing wind carry bits of my hair as it dances to its beats.

I want to be ignorant enough to try grasping the wind with my fists and be taken aback when I fail. I want to be ignorant enough as a new born child, one with no knowledge of the weird complexities this world hides within itself and that all the lights and sparkles are nothing but mere embellishments to hide the darkness.

I want to be ignorant. May not be forever but just for a while, as I pop my head out of the car window and listen to the breeze as I know that the ride would come to an end.
