Shelly―a career oriented and practical girl, is a lively person who loves to laugh away all her worries and woes. Her fun and smiles vanish when she stumbles into Raghav—HR Manager of an organization where she has stepped in as a management intern. She finds Raghav as an arrogant manager who believes, has the right and authority to make fun of her without any rhyme or reason. The days proceed and slowly she enthralls to join in Raghav’s laughter.

The internship ends shortly but her bond with Raghav keeps mounting. Shelly begins to treasure Raghav’s opinions for her professional life and gradually for her personal life. Both start striding in each other’s personal lives. Shelly realizes that she is getting drawn towards Raghav. Her love for him keeps kindling in her heart over the years.

Why does this practical girl fall for a person who is 12 years older than her? She falls in love with Raghav not because he is handsome, not because he is rich, not because he is a kind hearted person, not because he has good sense of humor but just for the reason that Raghav loved his wife Paavni deeply, madly and intensely who is now no more in the world.  Raghav was like the person she had always dreamt of getting married to. If Raghav loved his wife what made him hold feelings for Shelly in his heart?

Raghav and Shelly become emotional partners because they both know being physical partners would be a sin. The sorrows in their lives bring both of them together and tie them in a tight virtual knot.

Shelly had to marry one day. Raghav also wanted her to get married and settled but both could not see each other go. Shelly and Raghav decide they won’t see each other for the entire life after her marriage. Destiny makes her marry a person –Aditya, who does not have any traits of Raghav.

Shelly is so much addicted to talking to Raghav that she starts calling him up on landing up in a situation where she does not know how to tackle her dominating mother-in-law and her husband who is excessively influenced by his Mamma.

Why could not Shelly’s love for Raghav culminate into marriage? Will Shelly try to find Raghav in Aditya? Will this search end up in ruining her life? Will she never talk to Raghav again? Will Raghav help Shelley in strengthening her bond with Aditya? Will ever Aditya get to know about Raghav?

Shelly is still jiggling to find who her soul mate is– Her husband, who she is making love with, or the one who she fell in love with.

“I can’t see you go” is your story if you had a crush on your teacher when you were a student, if you have someone in office with whom you can freely bitch about your boss, if your mind knows that you are doing something wrong but your heart permits to do so, and if you have ever paid for a mistake that you never did. It mirrors the ugly corporate world. It embodies the life of a man oscillating between his mother and wife with a pinch of humor.

It is your story if there is a person in your life who helps you forget your sorrows, who lends you the shoulder to cry on, who is naughty enough to make you laugh, whom you can share each and every thing with and on the top, who is a good listener. This book seeks an answer from all its readers if such a person is outside your marriage – Is that an extra-marital affair???
