Human Fall

Swaying leaves, aromatic flowers, green velvet carpet, luminous and pious flowing river, among all these exotic assets of nature, there lived trees, and their friend, the Tini-Mini squirrel. She would jump, play and nibble the leaves around, singing her, the favourite song “ Tic-Toc-Tic-Toc Tini mini, Plays around the lovely trees.” One day, Tini Mini said,” I am going to visit my bosom Pals in the next forest.’? ’

 When Tini MINI squirrel came back. she was petrified to find that one of her tree friends, the Bamboo uncle was missing. She asked, ‘Where is my Bamboo uncle.’

Sobbing, The Banyan tree replied, ‘ Tini Mini squirrel, in your absence, there was a crowd of satanic humans who came with a monster like a machine and pulled your friend out. They carried the Bamboo uncle and took it to an unknown place.’ Could you find where our uncle is?’

Tini Mini squirrel went in the quest of her friend. After a few months, Tini Mini Squirrel returned back with a horrified look. All the trees asked unanimously, ‘Did you find our friend?’

Nodding Tini Mini squirrel replied, ’Our friend was killed mercilessly... Those ruthless fellows took him, to a gigantic factory. They peeled out his skin. and chopped him into subtle pieces and mixed them with chemicals to prepare a paste. They spread, the paste, and dried it to make a paper’

‘My dear friend, to my dismay I saw, people, writing their success stories, poetries, and dramas on this Bamboo paper. I saw the news getting printed on it. I saw children, making airplanes and paper balls, All the animals and trees in the forest, became stunned... The trees said in a chorus, ‘How brutal, how inhumane, how devilish, Oh! No. They cursed this civilized creature called human who for his unfulfilled desires, greed could kill life around and not live in peace with the surroundings.

Remember, when we tear a paper and waste it, think before, it is just not a paper but, the skin of a tree.
