Home Shifting Amid Pandemic

My mother was told to shift to Delhi from Mumbai it’s easy but in the Covid times, it’s a bit hard to shift house. So this time my parents needed to focus and it was also very challenging for them. First, we needed to find a new home. My parents were able to finalize the home with help of a property dealer but everything was done virtually.

When the date was fixed and flight tickets were booked, packers and movers were called. After eight hours when everything was in boxes, the heaviest rain of the season started to fall from the sky they were not even able to move the boxes to the truck. So they decided to wrap all the boxes with plastic foil and they also wore raincoats, finally, they moved all the stuff in the truck. Then we needed to stay in a hotel for one night in Mumbai.

The next morning when we were ready we needed to go to the airport we took the flight and in few hours we were in Delhi but now we needed to stay in the guest house for a week. The week was gone but still, our cars and stuff were not there, after two days we were on our way to the apartments called Cleo County in Noida. Then my parents needed to go to the apartments but they could not leave me alone so they left me at my friend’s house in Ghaziabad. In nine hours everything of use was unpacked finally.

Now I am in my new home but everything still needs to be settled however I have started liking my new home.
