Friendship VS Love

Once upon a time, there lived a couple of crocodiles. They both lived happily. They loved each other.

And one day the male crocodile felt hungry and was staying near the bank of the river. At that time a monkey was eating an apple from the tree. The crocodile saw eating it and asked him to give some to him. The monkey agreed to give but he asked the crocodile to do a favor for him before giving him the Apple. The crocodile asked him what should he do for the monkey. The monkey told that he wanted to cross the river so he asked the crocodile to carry him at the back to cross the river to other islands. The crocodile agreed to him and promised Then the monkey gave him Apple and soon the crocodile 's tummy got filled and both were chit-chatting happily. Then the crocodile carried the monkey back and was crossing the river. While he was crossing, the crocodile 's girlfriend came and saw the monkey at his back and told that she was going to eat the monkey. The monkey got feared that both the crocodiles would eat him and the girl crocodile came near to the monkey, but at last the male crocodile ate his lover and carried the monkey to another side of the bank of the river. The monkey thanked him and he also asked why did you eat your girlfriend instead of me? For that, the crocodile told us that none other than the promise we did is greater than anything in this world. So it's my duty to keep my promise that I did.so I protected you from her. I couldn't find any other way of protecting you. So I did that.
