I was twelve when the idea of becoming a successful writer first stuck me. Being a small town girl and belonging to a middle class family with a no family background of anyone being in a literature field, it was a dream next to impossible. But you know, the problem with small town people is that they always seek for something out of their legacy. And that's how legends are born. My desire was to make my dream of becoming one of the youngest Indian authors come true. I started in my summer vacations of 10th standard and completed my book in 2 months.

I approached 52 publishers and got rejected by 50. And finally when one of them matched with all the thoughts I had in mind, I went with them and published my first book at 15.
Yes! It took me 3 long years to finally get my dream fullfilled. Maybe not in the way I wanted but definitely in the way I needed to step ahead in my life. Since then I never looked back.
Dreams maybe worth dying for but they are definitely worth waiting for.
