Know About Respecting Work
One day, Napoleon was taking a tour of the country. While walking, he saw a worker struggling to lift a heavy stone. The man was struggling under the weight of the stone and sweating profusely. The contractor was sitting nearby and shouting instructions at the worker.
Napoleon went up to the contractor and asked, 'Why aren't you helping that man?'
The contractor looked at Napoleon arrogantly and said, 'Do you know who I am? I am the contractor of this project. You expect me to do his job?'
Napoleon did not say anything further and instead went up to the worker. He helped the man to move the stone. After finishing the job, Napoleon began to walk away. The contractor shouted at him, 'Hey, who are you?'
Napoleon turned around and said, 'People call me Napoleon.' On hearing this, the contractor came running towards him and apologized profusely.
Napoleon said, 'No work is inferior. This is the first lesson you should learn to be a successful contractor.'
