Dear Diary,

How are you doing? Well, I am doing great. Now, I feel that you are a part of my life. The only one with whom I can share my thoughts and feelings otherwise this self-quarantine days would have been harder for me.

Nowadays there is no track whether its Sunday or Monday. Everyday seems to be the same. There is no excitement of Sunday nor sadness of Monday.

Well, for your information, its Sunday today and day 12 of my quarantine. The morning is as usual, nothing new but yes today, we as a responsible citizen, must do a task assigned by our PM Mr. Modi. I am looking forward for the evening.

Sunday means cleaning day, so I did clean my house and treated my self with a good lunch. Nowadays, if I browse WhatsApp stories, all I see is the status flooding with two things: corona and food. Yeah, people are setting goals in cooking, I feel Sanjeev Kapoor inside everyone has woken up. I saw one of my friend's status where she uploaded golgappa image, it really took my heart. I started craving for golgappas. I immediately decided the day this all will over, I will go and have golgappas.

In the evening, I spoke to my family, we all were on a conference call. It was fun talking to them. And now it's the time to do the important job for the day. Its 9:00 PM IST and as per PM Modi's request, we must come in our varandas, switch off all the lights of our house and light candles, diyas, torches or mobile flash for 9 minutes. This was to thank those who are working hard out there in order to keep us safe. The city was dipped in a light, light of hope, light of bright future and light which hold us together to have a brighter tomorrow. Even I participated and thanked from the bottom of my heart to each and everyone who is fighting with this pandemic situation.

I had my dinner and now sharing all this with you. Hope you are also enjoying my company and I am not making you feel bored with my stories.

Till we meet again, stay safe and stay at home.

Good night.

With love,

Arti
