Corruption Free India
Corruption Free India
Corruption is an act of dishonesty and a criminal offense done by a person or an organisation. It is usually done by taking advantage of their power. Anything which is done illegally for achieving something is usually known as corruption. Corruption in our country is spreading second by second only due to a piece of paper which is money. Earning money gives us satisfaction and spending it on expensive things gives us happiness. But if we are using our money for wrong things or escaping from mistakes, then we are committing a blunder which might even ruin lives. Corruption exists everywhere, it is among us, we cannot say that we are not corrupt because at some point of time we might have to take or give a bribe to save ourselves. Examples of corruption are : Policeman taking bribes from people and letting them go even after violating rules or doing mistakes, a doctor taking bribe for the greed of money and providing a fake medical certificate etc etc. A bribe is a bribe whether it is 100 Rupees or 100000 Rupees. Bribery sometimes saves our lives but at the same time we are growing corruption and increasing it in our own motherland.
Prevention or stopping corruption from spreading should come from the higher departments or higher authorities. There are many honest officers who are against corruption and have taken a stand by regulating laws and prevention measures. But still, corruption or bribery takes place because of improper implementation due to which people are not scared and continue to do it.
Every time we cannot wait for the government to take actions, though there are honest officers but still the majority are corrupted due to which we are equally responsible for the corruption taking place in our country and also protecting our country from getting corrupted day by day.
One of the major reasons for growing corruption in our country is the lack of education due which majority of the uneducated class end up taking bribes for earning their living. Educational programmes should be conducted so that the uneducated class also gets educated. Strict laws must be made for people who practice corruption and must be punished severely. Cameras and recorders must be installed everywhere so that people get scared and are aware. The police should be trained properly because people are afraid to go to the police station as police often ask for money for no reason. We can use social media for this mission as social media is one of the trending things going on in the world right now.
Corruption is a cancer, a cancer that eats away at a citizen’s faith in democracy, diminishes the instinct for innovation and creativity. Hence, corruption is the worst disease in the world today. The positive thing about this is that there is a cure for it for which we should join our hands together and make India a corruption free country.
