Cherry On Top

Once in the jungle river, the crocodile was very hungry. It waited for something more delicious to eat. Then it saw, a beautiful horned deer who came near the river to drink water, it got very happy to see such a long-horned and a big deer for a meal. It was waiting for the deer to come near for drinking water, as it tried to come near, behind the deer he saw a big fat bear, seeing it at the crocodile felt like he was on cloud nine, as it's like a cherry on top for him. Then he thought if it tries to catch the deer first, the bear will sense the danger in water and it might run, then the crocodile thought of waiting and till then decided to be underwater. As the deer was drinking water, the bear also came near the river but then the bear caught sight of the crocodile's tail, and slowly he jumped back and ran towards his den, this made the deer aware and it also ran like a fast train. Alas, the crocodile missed the fun and ate everyday fish plate.

Moral: Never be greedy.
