Last month my friends and I visited Japan on August 4. We went to Cherry Blossom Lake and enjoyed it a lot. It all started with us all being welcomed by an impressive bunch of pink flowers hanging around the top. It was like going through a tunnel of flowers with a bridge made of oakwood below and a picturesque lake surrounding us. We all were mesmerized by the scene.

Next, we roamed around and were shocked by knowing that this place was thousand years old. Furthermore, we went boating and saw some colorful and exotic fishes whereas others were ugly and foul-smelling. When I touched the waters I felt the thunder and cold through my body. While boating we figured out that there were 40 species present in the lake. Afterward, we took up a spot in the damp forest nearby and chit-chatted a little.

It started drizzling and the mountains stood tall behind the clouds as if they were the gods. The pink

tunnels of flowers transformed to a valley of myriad lustrous butterflies followed by the stupendous downstream passing through the bed of roses. It was a breathtaking and once-in-a-lifetime view. Suddenly, the scent of delicious Japanese dishes passed by our noses which carried us to the dining room. We ate mouthwatering Sushi and tender Okonomiyaki. Finally, all the events were ended by the absolute folk dance of Japan, Bon Odori, which won our hearts.

Later on, after leaving the lake we visited the Japanese buildings and temples which were representative of classic and historic architecture. We went to Kiyomizu-Dera, one of the most renowned Japanese temples which gave us some insight into Japan’s culture as well as a spectacular view of the city from above the hill. Eventually, we walked to Japan’s famous night bazaar and it was the most crowded marketplace I had ever seen. From the top, it looked like millions and trillions of ants running and crashing into each other. We bought souvenirs for our family and relatives and left the market.

At dawn, we glanced at the panoramic view of the sunrise and we were all awed by it. Lastly, we left for the airport with luggage weighing quite a few tons. All in all, it was a magnificent experience of visiting Japan and it was an unforgettable visit. Japan is a must-visit place and it is unique in its festivities and ornamental celebrations with diverse people.
