Bored At Home But Happy
Bored At Home But Happy
Dear Diary,
I’m bored of sitting at home. I cannot go to work, meet my friends or hang out anyway. Quarantine is not just for those who are infected with coronavirus #covid-19. It is also for those who are locking themselves at home in prevention. Thanks to the virus which has given all of us unwanted holidays. We are perforce to be where we are… keeping eyes on updates and jibe with the panic. Boozes are available but you are alone in your own party. Restaurants are closed. So many people canceled their first dates and breakups. They have to wait until things go back to normal. And they could sit in front of the one who makes them blush. They have to wait to show eyes filled with disappointment before they declare the separation. What else, we are now witnessing war-like situations where people are fighting over tissue paper in departmental stores. Not much of groceries left to buy. Worries are increasing every day – what will happen next? How and when mayhem by this virus will stop?
Somewhere in my mind I’m happy as well that for once we all/entire world is on the same page. We are united over something and thinking alike for once. For once world has stopped all its work; no more emitting pollution; no rushing from here to there, no noises… People who were always busy they are now available to talk. Families are together even on weekdays. Of course work from home is there but you could also kiss your sweetheart while working. Play or take care of your children which makes them happiest. Your folks feel contented o see you at home alike before when you leave home early and come back in the evening; gulp food and off to bed. Now you are getting time to sort out cupboards or stuff that was waiting for you to give them their place. Prayers are also increasing not just for ourselves but for everyone. During this time in the world when we are praying for this monster virus to go down. We are not asking it only for us; this prayer is for everyone.
