Best Friends In School

Vihaan was a 10-year-old boy who had many friends but was not his best friends. One day his teacher introduced a student who was new in their class. George Stephan was his name and had emigrated from London to India. He was a very good boy who knew English very well. As he wasn't an Indian, he didn’t know Hindi.

During the lunch break, he took out his Hindi textbook and tried to read the words written in it. He was unable to read it. Then suddenly he felt that somebody had kept a hand on his shoulder. He took a glance as he turned behind. It was a boy with a friendly smile. They both introduced themselves to each other. Then George thought of his problem and asked Vihaan to solve it. “I will teach you Hindi," said Vihaan in a friendly way.

Everyday Vihaan taught George five words to read and write. After a couple of months, George was able to read and write Hindi! He was very happy and then realized that Vihaan was trying to be his best friend. Then afterward they both were best friends.
