An Unlucky Day

In the dining hall of a hotel, many weird yet fascinating incidents occur. This is a story about a lady, who comes to a dining hall at a hotel for a simple luncheon, which turns out to be disastrous.

Angie was having a nice day and decided to go out and treat herself by having a luncheon, all alone. Before that she went everywhere she wanted to after which she decided to go to "The Marriot" a well known hotel to have a fancy yet simple luncheon. She expected the best as she was well known in the town. It started off pretty well as she enjoyed the first course of her meal when a waiter dropped water on her beautiful dress!

Everyone around her stopped what they were doing and turned their attention towards her. She was very embarrassed. The waiter immediately apologized and scurried away. At this point, Angie was trying to be optimistic when the next person she saw was none other than her boss. He was looking for a seat when he glanced towards Angie. She was extremely embarrassed and tried to hide her face away in shame. To make matters worse, her boss walked over to her and saw the mess that had been created. He stifled in his laugh while trying to start a normal conversation with her. Being the cunning boss he is, he decided to tell the entire office of the incident as a revenge as Angie had not finished her work on time the day before.

She did not know what all was in store for her. Angie then decided to pay and leave the place, as her day was completely ruined.

While going home, it began to rain, thus making her wet, yet again. It was like the cherry on the icing of a pathetic day. Angie just wished to have stayed home on such an unlucky day. She then realized the date was Friday the thirteenth, which is always considered an unlucky day.
