Afraid Of The Dark

There was a young girl, my sister, who was afraid of the dark. Every night, she would leave the lights on when she want to sleep. After a while my parents got tired of this and told her she would have to grow up. But my Sister continued sleeping with the lights on.

So on their way to bed, my parents would come into her room while she was asleep and switch off the lights. This went on for months. One weekend, we went on holiday and left her home alone for a whole week. That evening, she stayed up late watching horror movie but the lights were on, so she didn't get scared. But in the middle of the night, she woke up to find that someone had switched off the lights. That's when she got scared.
