A Worthy Heir

King Ralph had three sons Eric, James and Peter. The King was very unwell and felt his end was near. He wanted a worthy heir to his kingdom He called his sons and said I have a task for all of you. Whoever is successful will succeed me as the king. Then he asked his sons to bring any one thing each that could fill a room completely. Eric soon returned with a chest of diamonds And James bought a bundle of cotton. But This only filled half the room. The King anxiously waited for Peter, At last Peter came He bought. a lamp, which filled the room, and Peter was made the king.
