Arav had come from the office after his very important presentation that day. He rang the bell. His roomie, Sahil had opened the door. Arav took the bottle from the freezer and took a sip of the chilled beer. It was the only relaxed thing he experienced that day. Arav slept after eating the chowmein ordered by him. Arav started dreaming – he was in someplace cold. He was shivering from head to toe and he had worn just a t-shirt and a Bermuda. He looked for something to cover his bare skin – skin which at a time was too sweaty but then he thought of wearing more clothes. And clothes there were. He picked up the clothes from the ground and wore them as fast as he could. His feet had turned pink due to excess cold. He thought of shoes and shoes were put on his shoes. Then he understood the deal. Whatever he thought, he was getting. The source was unknown but he felt comfortable with the thought of getting everything with just a thought.

He saw a light shining at the end of the blue horizon – the light was bright enough to blind a man. He took a car and started driving towards the point. As close he drove, the point seemed to be expanding. And then he heard a painful sonic boom. He realized he was in a midst of a bomb explosion of some kind. He started driving in opposite direction but no good took place and he died. He woke up from his dream sweating profusely in a pool of warm liquid. It seemed he pissed his Bermuda. He was shocked by his dream. It appeared so real to him. He sat and started thinking about the details and the idea of untimely death by explosion. He had to complete paying his education loan and laptop EMIs he thought. He changed his bed sheet and went to sleep. He slept comfortably then without any nightmare or any kind of dream. He was giving his presentation to Mr Sahni. He was presenting the cost of the project and negotiating the terms of designs sent by Mr Sahni. He felt a striking pain in his back and he lost all his sensations. He fell to the ground and went blank. He regained his consciousness in the evening that day. He was in a hospital at an unknown location. He called the nurse by flipping the button near his bed. The nurse came and changed the saline water. He asked what happened to him. The nurse told him that he fell because of the trauma that happened to the brain stem. Then the nurse asked whether he had faced any accident or burn or explosion in recent times. He replied in negation. The nurse went out of the room. Then Arav realized whether the dream was real.
