A Horrible Nightmare
A Horrible Nightmare
One night, as I went to bed, I thought about the next day and the teachers that I feared, causing me to panic and sweat, even though it was a cold night. I closed my eyes, but something seemed to wake me up, something that sounded just like a whistle. Curious, I went outside my room to check and found myself standing next to the P.E. ground of my school, with my class and my P.E teacher on the ground, in my pyjamas!
Well, luckily my teacher did not see me, so I went and hid behind a wall and heard the teacher shouting as loud as he could. Though I could faintly hear what he said, it was horrible: “Where is that weird girl who wears those nerdy spectacles? Wha…. AH! What’s her name? Oh, Dorothy is it? Wait till she comes and just watch what I will do to her! I will put a 0 in her marks and….”
Before he could say another word, I took a step to run and, I don’t know how in the world, I landed in up my class! And miraculously nobody was in there, so I quickly hid in the cupboard filled with all my school things. Suddenly, the school bell rang and all my classmates walked in with my Geography teacher; “Take out your notebooks and show me your homework.” she said. “WHAT, You didn’t finish it ? Wait wait! OUT! OUT NOW! WHAT, most of you didn’t do it? Come let’s take a trip to the principal’s office. He’d be delighted! Come come! Now! Don’t make me drag you!”, she blasted.
I heard my friends screaming and shouting which just made me want to cry. Once everyone had left, I stepped out of the cupboard, turned back and found myself in the cabin of the Principal. Well again, thankfully, nobody was there but in the distance, I could hear my P.E coach, my Geography teacher and my principal, along with my classmate coming towards the office. So I quickly ran under the table although I new that, that spot was the worst hiding place.
Soon they all were there and the Geography teacher started blasting out her comments on the class, but the P.E teacher had a big complaint about my absence. After a long exchange of words, the principal turned to the students and said “Don’t ever repeat this again". He then looked at the teachers and said "Teachers, you may want to stay here for a minute and tell me more about this girl that you are complaining about”. At that very moment my heart began to pump very fast, sweat flowed from my forehead as I shivered and became so cold.
As my P.E teacher was telling false stuff in complaint about me, my Geography teacher just looked under the table, like the spooky game called ‘Granny’. I was shocked and scared and screamed at the top of my lungs. My Geography Teacher got frightened and muttered “Is this the girl who you were talking about? Oh, I have a great problem with her too!” She grabbed me by the arm and pulled me out. Everyone had a shocking look on their faces. This what I blabbered out; “I….I ca..ca...ca.. can explain!”
They all got so angry almost like they were ready to pour all their anger upon me, when suddenly a loud thunder and lightning struck the office and these three human beings turned into mean-looking Zombies, for some weird reason, but anyway, I hate the combination of TEACHER+ ZOMBIE, so I rushed to the door as they followed after me. But alas!, a voice from Heaven, came to save my so… wait, it wasn’t a voice from heaven. It sounded just like my not so loving older sister and guess what she had said (everyone was looking around for the voice and from where it was coming) “Wake up Dorothy! Don’t be such a lazy goose. We are almost late for school!” I soon disappeared from the principal’s office and landed in my bedroom.
“It was all a scary, horrible, weird nightmare! It seemed so real!” I said to myself but my sister heard it and asked: “What was?” I just smiled and said, “you’ll never know sis.”
(Well my teachers in real life are not so zombie or anything like that although they are harsh sometimes because they care. And by the way, I ain’t like that either (plus I don’t have an older sister, peace!)
