I wanted to capture you in my words

But my words weren't enough strong

To portray the real you

I penned you in my diary

But those weren't the exact traits of your personality

I just wrote and wrote how perfect you are

But one fine day I realised you weren't perfect

It was an illusion of the story I had portrayed

I forgot even perfect stories have to end

Because perfect stories are just

Some lies wrapped in polished words.
