People light earthen lamps of Ghee

I lit and burnt the lamp of my heart

People take promises of faithfulness and loyalty

I had to accept poisoning myself with the separation

People loose their hearts in love

I staked my “self”

Still my flickering

Was not liked by my love

Oh Love!

If I am the river,

Then you the water,

I will dry without you!

If you the water,

Then I the thirsty,
