Winter's Glory
Winter's Glory
O lovely Winter
Thou never leave
Us so soon,
Stay for sometime
More and let us
Have a chance to
Grin.
Let us have a fine
Sleep wiith romantic
Dreams ,
Nevertless we are
Old, young chaps
Or teens.
Let us stride up
To the park to
Gossip in your
Misty lap,
Enjoying a cup of
Tea and coffee
And roasted
Groundnuts and
Grams and
Jhal muri with
Fillip.
Let the young
Couple play
Romance in your
Wintry cooling
Night at their
Bedroom under
The woollen
Blanket,
Making
Themselves
Warmed up with
An erotic gust.
Let the teenagers
Fight off the cold
By the morning
Gymnastics,
And the young
Mass to have
Pleasure out of
Badminton play
Inside the clubs.
Let the adults
Enjoy the morning
Walks daily to be
Fit to live,
Let the food-giver
Farmers sow the
Rabi Crops for
Gleefully nutrifying
The mankind to
Survive.
O dear Winter!
Let thine dews
Sparkle on the
Green leaves with
Morning Sun's
Reddish rays,
Let the long green
Leaves of the tall
Trees of the meadow
Dance wearing dewy
Robe by northern
Breeze and drift
Colourfully by rising
Sun's rays.
O Chilly Winter!
Let us enjoy the
Flavour of morning
Tea cup with
Warming sips and
The essence of
Reading news
Papers,
Let the sportsman
Enjoy the true spirit
Of sportsmanship,
On the riverbank
Whistling and
Bouncing with
Quivering lip.
Let the chirpings
And postures of the
Migratory birds on
The lake bank
Murmur and
Ornament the upper
Part of the lake with gaiety,
May spontaneous flocking of them
Enrich the tourist's
Heart cheers and
Boosting them up
With ornithophilic
Sweety.
O caressing Winter!
Stay here longer so
As to give a scope
To our kids to enjoy
The fairy and ghost stories from the
Mouth of Granny,
Inside the mosquito
Net and under the
Thick blanket
Feeling warmy and
Cozy.
O Loving Winter!
Please never stop
Your annual entry
Without blotting out
Our humble urging,
For our descendants
May not be deprived
Of your affectionate
Glory and blessing.
