Why is it so difficult?

To find the one you love?

And once you found them

Why is it difficult to love?

Why is it difficult?

To retain the love you conjure?

In the face of hardships,

And consequences that lure.

And why is it that people don't get,

Its our decision and we don't regret?

We are who we are,

Please accept us the way we are.

Though we don't crave,

For the acceptance that you give.

But it only make us grave,

Because it’s your acceptance for which we live.

Why don't people get it,

How easy it is to love?

And once you have them,

How difficult it is to stop.

 

For you it maybe hormonal,

For us it’s sentimental.

Its easy for you to say, 'it’s a mistake',

While its us who give whatever it takes.

In the end, its a heartfelt request.

To accept us the way we are,

However difficult it is to digest,

But this is what we are.

And embrace our love,

However controversial.

Because it’s WE who produce this,

This love unconditional.
