Where His Love Still Lives
Where His Love Still Lives
A daddy’s little princess, that’s who I’ve been,
His first love, his world—my heart tucked in.
On his tummy, I’d giggle and play,
As he stole my worries and fears away.
A doctor by duty, so busy with care,
Yet in stolen moments, he was always there.
From morning school drop-offs to evening rides,
The joy in my heart , I could never hide .
Tales of my day, I’d eagerly share,
He'd listen with patience, so gentle, so rare.
Soft kisses on cheeks and those long, warm hugs—
It was in those moments I felt truly loved.
Birthdays were magic, the best of the year,
Because he’d wait, he'd be there, he'd cheer.
Getting My favourite dress, all dolled up just right,
Cartoon cakes and sweets, my heart full of light.
His hands healed many with knowledge and grace,
But his love was my comfort, my safest place.
I watched him struggle, I saw him strive,
Working so hard to give us a life.
Though the years we had were far too few,
Each moment with him felt honest and true.
And all that I am, and all I pursue,
Is rooted in love that he once grew.
Today I stand, strong and free,
Grateful for all he poured into me.
Thankful, blessed beyond compare—
For a father's love, forever .
Your truly ,
Pyari Beti
