When There Were No Smartphones

When there were no smartphones,

Letters are the best way of communication,

We had more physical interpersonal interactions,

People relied on landlines more than anything.

Individuals today struggle more

To lead a life without smartphones.

The absurdity of sending a letter

Without receiving any reply

Made young people terrific.

Humans can survive 

Three weeks without food,

Around 7 days without water,

But most of us can't

Handle even an hour without mobile phones.

Life seems interesting before smartphones,

Reading newspaper,

Listening music,

Endless chatting with family,

Getting time to think about ourselves.
