Weekend Blues

It was a regular boring day,
Was lying around wasting my time away.
Nothing to do nothing to say,
Trying best to keep my worries at bay
That was when she came,
Moving around in circles
making noises I'm not really fond of.
Leave me alone I shouted
But lazy that I was, realized there was nothing I could do about it
I swayed, I waived I opened the door,
showed her the way made her feel wanted no more.
All my efforts have gone in vain
What I got from her was only pain
Never did I consider her a foe,
But she sucked on me like she'd get no more.
Oh, I slew her with a single blow,
That crazy little mosquito.
