Way To Fiasco
Way To Fiasco
Got my steps trodden black on the wrong way;
'One way leads on to another' I have heard them say.
It's been long since I have been on this path,
On this lachrymose lane.
My old good self, kind of fading,
Which once used to be reminiscent in my brain.
Don't know when and why this,
Lurid genesis marked its way.
Turning me into a scavenger,
To rot and to decay.
Estranged, ostracised I stand alone;
With no one around to hear my woeful moan.
My reap is the outcome of what I sow;
Sadly, fumbling I will have to face this fiasco.
There is nowhere around to run and go;
There is no escaping this fateful fiasco.
Got my steps trodden black on the wrong way;
'One way leads on to another'
I surely have heard them say.
