Water, So Precious,

Every drop, like Mannah from heaven.

So frivolous of the human race

To ill spend water, such a treasure!

The wise know, water is for all,

The birds, the bees and not just man and his kin!

Water to purify, heal and survive,

Such a treasure it is,

This is why grandmothers used to say, save water and you will thrive!

Such a gift from the skies, which was free for all,

Made into a mere commodity,

Will the wastage of water at least end now?
